Have just received news that due to half the government workers being on strike (which I support, but honestly, why is it that the kids have to come to MY house when there isn't class and the post office has to choose ME???), I won't get Harry Potter until next Thursday. I'm being surprisingly mature about this. Maybe it's the fact that I am finally panicking about my thesis.

So since I know I won't be able to resist LJ that long (next week I start work and have my own office. Translate: will be able to surf the net all day), I have taken most of the BNFs and BNSs off of my LJ friends list. Because while they've been very respectful so far, I know they won't wait until next Thursday to discuss the book. I trust the rest of you to at least lj-cut it if you must discuss who dies, who hooks up with who, etc. Please. Don't ruin the suspense for me. Harry Potter is honestly under my list of "Things to Live For" in my PalmPilot for when I get really really depressed. Yup, right up there with finding a lifemate and having a rewarding career.

Don't worry, I still haven't found a copy either. Am going to Barnes & Noble after work and hoping they don't yell at me for reading it without paying any non-existant money:-)

Oh, and Phil Folio is doing Sluggy this week! He's a real ass as a person, but I still like his style.
