So, leaving a place brings home all the things I MEANT to do and never did.

For example:

- I have never been to the Greenbelt Museum
- I have never been to Eden Center
- I have never been to the Eastern Shore oh god I've lived here for eight years how did I never go to the Eastern Shore? okay, I meant the Atlantic actually; I've never made it to the beach
- I have never been to the Holocaust Museum
- I have never been hiking in Rock Creek Park proper
- I have gone to no shows at either the 9:30 Club or the Black Cat
- I have not been to that mansion museum whose name is escaping me
- I have never hiked the Billy Goat Trail
- I have never been to SpaWorld, sadness
- I have never biked the Northwest Branch trail
- I have never made the pilgrimage that all sustainable foodies must, out to Polyface Farm
- I have never, not once, made it to the Pride parade, :(
- I have never been out to the satellite Air & Space Museum
- I have never been to the Newseum
- I have never been in SW DC
- I have never taken a tour of the National Cathedral
- I have never been to the Baltimore library
- I have never found good Mexican food in this town

a few things to take off your list

I have never been to the Greenbelt Museum

We went and saw the 75th Anniversary exhibit. It had all the stuff about early racial segregation.

I have never been to the Eastern Shore oh god I've lived here for eight years how did I never go to the Eastern Shore?

We went to St. Michaels and ate somewhat questionable seafood on the waterfront.

I have never been in SW DC

Okay, now I'm splitting hairs, but technically much of the Smithsonian is in SW :-P.

Absolutely. Should I throw out dates/locations, or did you have something in mind? Guest-wise, I have the address list from your birthday party two years ago I think--I can send it to you and see if you have revisions?

Okay. I assume you don't know your departure date yet, so maybe some of these will be too late or early, but...

Sunday June 30, late brunch/lunch (restaurant? Picnic?)
Friday July 12, evening (restaurant? Your house? My apt? Drag everyone contra dancing?)
Saturday July 20, evening (restaurant? Your house?)

I can throw out August dates if you want?

If you have time to do any of those before you move, I'd be up for most of them (I've only done three of the ones on your list! /o\). <3 Or when you come back to visit!

P.S. I have no idea what SpaWorld is but it sounds enticing.

Yeah, what is Spa World?

Greenbelt Museum is small but cool. I think they're open every Sunday. The Baltimore LIbrary (Enoch Pratt's Central LIbrary) is a weird but cool amalgam of 100 year old elegance with 21st century tech, and I swear literally over a million books and other items like music scores and movies. (Of course I've been there, they hold 2 all-day learning events per year for librarians) And if they still have the fishpond in the children's area, that is not to be missed. Anyway, those 2 places plus the Eastern Shore beach and the Holocaust Museum are the only ones of the places you listed that I have been.

I could be talked into driving out for a day trip to Rehoboth and Delaware National Seashore State Park . . . lemme know when's good. You could invite your Tolkien-librarian friend to join us (-: Keep in mind, though, you'll actually be closer to the Atlantic in Philly thru the Jersey shore; however, don't tell my Jersey friends, but I think Delaware National Seashore beats a Jersey beach any day . . . .

Also, here's the link to the F/S and Sean/Elijah community: http://tol-eressea.dreamwidth.org/

And to tie both comments here together, here's Frodo and Sam out on the Delaware beaches: :-D
