I saw The Hobbit this afternoon. I was not terribly impressed, but it reminded me about how much I loved LotR fandom.

Seriously, where do I find this fandom? Also, why do I have to wait a year for the next installment of a mediocre film?

Also, Kili = so obviously fanservice. Proper dwarves have proper beards! But I totally don't care, because I am shallow. Pretty!

I have not felt like being fannish for soooo long! I want to squee with people! Where are my people to squee with?

If you don't know msilverstar, I'd recommend looking in on her. She has kept the LOTR love alive for all the time I've known her, and I believe she put up a bunch of fannish links quite recently. Yay for squee! :D
