zana16Taxes are DONE! And I discovered that they had pushed back the Maryland due date to the 18th, so I wasn't even late getting them in today.
Finally! It only took a few hours; my taxes are much less complicated these days than they used to be -- only working one job now, haven't moved lately, changed my IRA so that I won't have to do capital gains as often, no longer eligible for credits aimed at low-income people which is awesome on many levels -- but I always think it's going to be a nightmare, so I put them off to the last minute.
I do wish to register a complaint: nowhere on the Maryland tax instruction booklet is it listed where to send your paper taxes. Some of us don't e-file, Maryland! And some of those people who don't e-file? Probably don't have access to your website to figure out the damn address to send them to!
