zana16One of these days I'll have an actual update. That day will be after the 28th, which is our huge annual fundraiser for work. It's our 10th anniversary gala, so it comes with a sideline of extra madness. It's like planning a wedding for 350, except that 300 of those people are the mother of the bride. (I realize this is a problematic stereotype. It also gets the point across.)
A hundred thousand small details, and one of my student interns quit on my this morning. I knew she was a flake, but I'd actually thought she's last more than a day; I was prepared for her to quit after the banquet, not after one day. Oh well.
The latest thing... We want to play a short video from the DC Labor Film Fest. We previewed it at YouTube, which is how we chose. The Film Fest doesn't have a hard copy and won't get one before the date. Is there a way to download a high-res copy of a YouTube video? (Er, a way that gets a video clip that is actually playable?)
