When a sign says "Road closed ahead", sometimes that means it actually IS closed, for a good reason.
Also, when you discover that the reason is that they're redoing the road and a good stretch of it is a sheer 10-inch drop down and then twenty feet later back up, the solution is NOT to go ahead, undercarriage be damned. A Toyota Corrolla is not an SUV. A Toyota Corrolla is not an SUV. A Toyota Corrolla is not an SUV.
Heather: "If this doesn't work, you're the one who's gonna have to walk four miles to get help."
Right. It's not like I ever claimed to be smart or anything....
