I think it's morally wrong to let children go without health care just because their parents have made unwise career choices.

I think it's morally wrong for a teacher to make a child feel bad because she doesn't share the religious faith of the majority of her classmates.

I think it's morally wrong for the president to lie his way into war.

I think it's morally wrong to force a rape victim to carry her rapist's child.

I think it's morally wrong to rape and torture prisoners of war.

I think it's morally wrong to execute over 300 people on Texas's Death Row and then talk about "a culture of life."

And so do most Americans. And so does the Democratic Party. And it's time we talked about these moral values as we live them, instead of letting others define the moral agenda of our country.

Hey, we all have to reinforce our worldviews by surrounding ourselves by people who share them. It makes us feel like we understand the world and other people in it.

I'll clarify. Surrounding doesn't mean exclusively surrounding. If I lived in a socially conservative community, I'd still have friends. I would just want to go elsewhere (perhaps online) to chat with people who share my views.

Do you know where I can find articles about the female soilders who have come forward about being raped by other american soilders while in Iraq? I saw somthing on CNN on sunday, and now I can't find anything about it.

It's really important to me becuase an argument I keep hearing about why the war in Iraq is good is because we are rescuing Iraqi women from being raped by their government. How can we say that we are rescuing women with soilders who are raping the women they are supposed to be working with to stop rape?

ugh.
