academia = I'm an intellectual at heart. I want to be a student forever. Damn them for making me graduate.
activism = self-explanatory. Political, environmental, pro-peace, pro-choice, and anti-death penalty.
alan rickman = I don't usually go for older guys, but this one is not only talented but hot.
alexandre dumas = I am a junkie. Books, movies, whatever.
animals = yes. fuzzy cute and otherwise.

art = I taught myself art history while in Europe, and did most of my travelling to see major museums in other countries. I spent 9 hours in the Prado. Shut up.
astronomy = I'm fascinated by stars, by physics, by creation, by all of it. I share every scifi geek's dream of going to the stars.

butterflies = In highschool, the four best friends gave each other nicknames: I was Butterfly, Laura was Dragonfly, Robby was Superfly, and Jenny was Firefly. We put together a book of poetry and writing called "Flies on the Swatter".

And if 'Del happens to interpret that in a rather slashy manner, I will be the last to complain. I really like the Glorfindel/Elrond 'ship.
