I'm a bit out of touch, but apparently I was already on the bandwagon without knowing it: I wish for peace
In good news, François Hollande, head of the Socialist Party here ever since Lionel Jospin went down in flames, is supporting a more integrated European Union excluding England and other laggards. This means a road toward political integration without the nay-sayers who don't really want to be a part of the Union and refuse to pay their share of the dues anyways. I totally understand where England is coming from in the debate, but really, they shouldn't have signed the treaty in the first place if they didn't want to adhere to it. Anyways, we might see a small knot of current EU members integrate politically in my lifetime. Now it becomes even more important for me to figure out how to become an EU citizen.
In other news, today is April 1st, so all the Frenchies run around with paper fish for some odd reason. More later when I figure out what they do with said fish.
