Mar. 27th, 2004 12:37 amHad a quiet Friday evening in with the Hannah who was writing about kinky sex. Rather nice to just have someone else in the room. And I got daffodils and daffodil-kisses, and talked to a bona fide male human being. We listened to strange music and I got some writing done on Redemption, though I'm not really happy with it.
Talbot had a (no)Talent show today. Hannah performed Rocky Horror's "Toucha toucha toucha touch me" with me as Rocky. It was hilarious.
So. The bad news. My brother has flunked out of his first year at college, thereby losing his scholarship and meaning my dad will have to support him. I'm not getting anywhere near my stepmom until she's done freaking out about this. It also means that the loans I was counting on getting from my dad may not materialize since he may just not have the money available. I should probably talk to my brother but I don't want to deal with family shit right now. Or ever. The silver lining is that when my dad said "so he's going to be moving back to san antonio" and I started hitting my head on the wall and singing a heart-warming rendition of "this is a very bad idea", my father clarified that no, my brother will not be moving in with them, thank God, because otherwise I'd have to plan for a divorce.
Oh! Another, totally-unrelated silver lining. My uterus has decided to stop gushing forth blood in alarming quantities! It's the little things that make life worth living.... *groan*
daffodil kisses to all, and to all a good night!
