Feb. 23rd, 2004 06:24 am*sigh* So, I still want to see The Passion of Christ just to see what it's like, right. Just like I'll see Troy even though I know I'll be disgusted with their version of the story. But really, couldn't they have at least put in a hint of the ambiguity behind Judas's betrayal? He's the greatest sinner in all of history; he was directly responsible for God being nailed to a cross; he committed suicide. There HAS to be something more than just maliciousness or evil. There has to be some sort of inner conflict. He is the least one-dimensional character in the entire f*ing Bible, and that should come through in any story he's a part of. But no. Mel Gibson, I understand that you want to see the world in black and white, but honestly. HONESTLY. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING???
