In other news, I met hedy!! Am kicking myself for letting the shyness kick in, since she seems kick-ass.

Saw Peter Pan tonight. Freudian. Melancholy. Growing up: I hate it. Jason Isaacs, though. Guh. Pretty good movie, all 'round, though I would have changed a few things. What's there is for the most part brilliant, but the story told lacks something; it's like they get to Neverland and then turn right around and leave; they don't have time to have fun, get attached, so that leaving Neverland and childhood is that much more emotionally wrenching. It takes a nosedive into character development without establishing the characters first, which they probably figured they could get away with since Peter Pan is a pretty established modern myth, but still.
