Right-O. Am off in a few minutes. I have left my entings in Aprille's care and am venturing South for the solstice. Make that extended Christmas and brother's birthday with millions of relatives dropping in at odd hours. Will finally meet the newest member of the family, the black-lab-almost-named-Sirius.

So happy Christmas, Hannukah, Solstice, Yule, Kwaanza, Boxing Day, or [insert non-specific winter holiday here], or if you don't believe in holidays, have a great break. And Happy New Years for those of you who are willing to celebrate the Gregorian calendar. *sigh* Being PC is complicated when the P and C don't stand for "porn" and "club".

Perhaps, when I've seen RotK again and can judge it as a movie and not as severely abridged Tolkien, I will give an opinion on it.

Off to see if perhaps my brother will have learned to talk this year!! I've only been waiting 19 years, after all.
