Dec. 2nd, 2003 07:49 pm...the hell? I get an A on my paper and the prof staples a photocopied sheet on "how to avoid plagiarism" to it. She says "we can talk about it later."
Okay, I know I didn't cite my sources as well as I could have; I hate doing footnotes. But it's all there in the bibliography, I took no direct quotes, and did not copy sentences or formatting of any of my sources. Even if I were ever to plagiarize, I would do it intelligently, for god's sake.
I hope it isn't one of those "you couldn't possibly have written something so professional" bullshit things. I've managed to sidestep those all the way through; I don't want one now that I'm in college. I'm not sure whether to be insulted or wait to hear what's up.
