zana16My English prof wasn't very fond of the antennae today. Ah, well.
Went to an astrophysics lecture at UMass with Emily tonight. Learned that space-time is not, in fact, curved. After years of trying to envision 4-dimensional space as curved, I learn that all those braincells I killed thumping my head against walls in frustration were all wasted.
May be taking the math GRE? Must talk to father and look at price. Ye Olde Math Party Group, lately returned from its tour of Europe, would be having a study group for it. I miss those math parties. Mandy and Sally and I are all in a group for a project, so we had something like today, minus the stress of having to get problem sets in by a certain time.
Finished Walk Two Moons. Almost cried, but I am all cried out.
Have hit the I-don't-want-to-think-I-don't-want-to-live-I-don't-want-to-feel-all-I-want-is-to-surf-the-web-and-play-diddles-on-my-guitar wall. I won't let myself go home cause I won't get any studying done.
Still need a name for the monkey. Benjamin is close, but not quite. There are times I like the idea of naming it Jack, even though I cringe at the very fangirlyness of the concept. 'Cept the monkey is not a pirate.
Ah, yes. I am now a countess. At lunch we all took titles. We assigned the "Princess" to Lia, who will kill us when she finds out. Lady Jane is brought to you by Eddie Izzard.
All in all, a rather uneventful day.
