I wanted to be the Golden Mean, but I realize it doesn't describe me. Still, it's one of the ones I actually understand, whereas <i>e</i> has just always confused me. Then again, I always confuse me.

In other news, Discover sent me an unrequested replacement for my credit card. It would have been okay if the background weren't an f*ing American flag. They so don't know who they're dealing with, and if they aren't going to bother to find out, I'm not going to bother to use the damn thing. Now, if the flag were upside down.... I love my country, I just hate its politics.

I suppose it wouldn't be the same if, when you handed the card to a clerk, if you simply handed it to them so the card was upside down, therefore rendering the flag upside down to the person holding the card?
