zana16Last day at work. I'm all nostalgic and stuff. Rene, who's a sweetheart, had an impronmptu going-away party for me. Kir = white wine + cassis, quite good.
Went out to a French Basque restaurant last night with Leslie. It was soooo good. Best potatoes I'd ever had.
Have you ever had one of those mornings when you hit the snooze button and didn't realize that you'd actually in the process turned your alarm clock off, and an hour later (about the time you should be showered, dressed, breakfasted, out the door and on the way to the metro) you wake up and think "Shit"? Today was one of those days.
Need sleep. Am worrying about packing.
Weird factoid: I brought a bottle of multivitamins with me, and I take one a day whenever I remember to (which often coordinates with the days I remember to floss). Large bottle, many vitamins. I have one pill left for tomorrow. The next day I go home. Funny how it worked out like that.
In other news, I am moody and pmsing and they nominated Pryor to the 11th circuit court, the bastards, and I binged so I'm feeling bloated, and guilty too, and I'm sleepy and paranoid about being pregnant (doctor: so you're sexually active? me: not at the moment... doctor: but you think you may be pregnant? me: well, no, but I'm paranoid. doctor: when was the last time you had sex? me: with a man? two or three years ago, I guess.... doctor: ....right.) and restless and sore and icky and I just want to sleep. Fuck those bastards who say pms is all in the mind. *cough*pryor*cough* The world is more fucked than I am, and that's saying something.
