Byron: No, I've lost the catalogue for that Amish furniture. ...Do you think they have a website?

Heather: Is there slash fanfiction for other books than Tolkien? Like, Harry Potter? Oh God, please tell me there isn't Harry Potter porn. That's just so wrong!

Actually, I'd bet there is a website for the Amish furniture. Its just not run by the Amish.

Yes, it turns out there is. It's not been updated in several years, so maybe it is run by the Amish?

I didn't want to tell her that Harry Potter is one of the largest fandoms out there, but I didn't want to lie, either.... *snerk*

I was trying to explain the war of the Harry/Hermione camp versus the Harry/Ginny camps, but I accidentally said Hermione/Ginny instead and made the fandom seem much more intriguing than it actually is. :)

Hmmm, Hermione/Ginny... You would think there'd be at least some about them. Two smart pubescent teenage girls finding themselves, it almost writes itself...

You'd really think there would be more out there, but it's extremely rare. At least, as far as I've seen. Maybe because most of fandom is made up of straight women.

How are you doing, by the way? I miss you! You need to find an excuse to come visit DC, cause I don't think I can come up with an excuse to go north.

I miss you too!

I'm having trouble just getting Tue off next week, so I don't think I'll be going anywhere before school starts up again (plus the whole $ thing - tuition sucks and I'm broke).

:( I guess it'll be a while before either of us can afford to visit each other. I'm broke as well, right in the face of major car bills.... Oh well, one of these days.

Well, there is a Walmart for Amish folks so the furniture site doesn't seem so odd I suppose.

*pets Tolkien slash* Yes precioussss, we have delved outside this fandom. Okay, not really. The Ranger read me some HP slash a while back; it all seemed to involve glitter and cut-off shirts that said "diva".

Glitter and cut-off shirts? Granted, I don't read much in the fandom because ewwww, teenagers but what were they thinking??

... And what the frak? A Walmart for the Amish? Please tell me this is just an urban legend.
