I got a message from my dad and stepmother that they were not anywhere near the Christchurch earthquake. There's nothing quite like personal connections to make a tragedy more real in your mind. I looked at a few pictures and had to stop. I'll be holding New Zealand and the earthquake victims in the Light, per my Quaker roots; if you have another way of praying or sending positive energy, please do.
