DC finally gets same-sex marriage!

Yay!!!

I was sure that Congress was going to put a stop to this. Since DC law is subject to review by Congress, the city has been screwed time and time again, including on this very issue. But apparently miracles are possible! *knock on wood*

I am amused, in a black way, that having watched California take away the right to marriage, my immediate consumerist instinct in response to perceived scarcity was "Must go get one right now!" :P
