Party!

I have been pretty productive today so far, especially given how late I came home last night, but I have sort of lost my will to continue doing anything except watching TV. Which is bad, because I have decided that this is the weekend that my unpacking will happen. It WILL. I'm sick of tripping over boxes after months of living in this place.

Next Saturday, Sir Now Appearing and I are having a poker party here (hence the cleaning; we've decided we need to have periodic parties just so that the place will get clean every once in a while). You are invited. It shall start with a potluck around 4, with cards later-ish (this has not been worked out well -- I'll be at a board retreat until 5, but Sir NA will be here). $10 stakes (I insisted, because I do not want people losing large sums of money in my home.) Come! PM me if you don't know where we live. We will pick people up from Greenbelt Metro if needed. There will also be Scrabble, for those not inclined to cards, and if I can get three more people, there will be bridge since I don't actually know how to play poker, and am bummed about missing bkleber's bridge party.
