Fandoms are my crack

About a week ago I discovered Leverage, which is the best crack on TV these days. This show makes me sooo happy. They're thieves! They're funny! They screw over the people who screw people over!

Then Em and I watched some of Season 3 of Veronica Mars, which reminded me that I've never seen the last few episodes of the series, and if Leverage is crack, Veronica Mars is crack with character development. I'd forgotten about the Logan-whumping, though. Why does everyone mistreat Logan? I mean, it makes sense, abused children tend to form relationships that follow abusive patterns, but seriously, people. How can you abuse someone with such perfect puppydog eyes?

Tonight I went to ambyr's and watched Buffy, which was my first fandom. We all sang along to the musical episode. I may have to dig out my old tapes and rewatch all seven seasons... I think my tapes are in Texas, though, with someone whose number I lost several lost cellphones ago.

I've been mono-fannish for a while, Pros only. Which, well, I think I'll probably continue to be Pros-mostly for the conceivable future, but it's really nice to reconnect with old fannish flames. Speaking of which, I checked out The West Wing from the library today...
