Today is National Pizza With The Works Except Anchovies Day. Dunno why. If they'd asked me, it would have been National Pizza With Black Olives, Mushrooms, Onions, Tomatoes, And Artichoke Hearts Day. Mmmm.

I have taken down the vitriol I posted earlier. It's not that I'm no longer hurt and angry, it's that expressing it in the way I did was not useful to anyone, least of all me.

Went to the Coffee Chocolate and Comedy night with Sally, Kami, Laura, and assorted others. My stomache hurts from laughing so much. Chocolate was muy bueno.

Also played REALLY loud music with REALLY loud bass for awhile this evening while I was pissed. My neighbors did not appreciate it but I think when I emerged with tear-streaked face they decided to stay far away from me. Darcy, Jane, and Laura are all hug-a-rrific. Yet again, Milton did not get read.

And, really, as long as nuclear war doesn't break out tomorrow, it'll be better than today, on the whole, excluding the last three hours, which were wonderful. Oh, and the math party, which was also wonderful. Trying to remember PreCalc is hilarious. We got through 8 problems in an hour, whereas the actual GRE has 22 per hour (3 hours).

I should really do some astronomy homework right now, since I slept through class today. Then again, I really don't give a damn right now.

Senioritis? What's that? Oh, that must be the syndrome resulting when you realize that they're not offering a single interesting class next semester but they won't give you a degree until you spend $17,000 just to fulfill the ONE requirement left for your major. Sorry, man, I came here to learn. Teach me, goddammit. Offer something besides "Politics and Gender" or "Crime and Gender". Honestly, like we can't just figure out what we'd be talking about in the class, just from the title.

I just discovered what NaNoWriMo stands for. I think you're all nuts, by the by.

There's a point in the experience of heartbreak where you're just too tired to put energy into being in pain anymore. Perhaps this is where healing begins. Although now that my heart has been yanked out of my chest and the bloody remains have been stomped and ground into the floor, it's hard to imagine ever having a whole heart again.

Although I am at the anger stage. Finally. I wasn't sure I'd be able to let myself.

They printed my article minus some of my naughty words. It was under an article about Mormonism that cracked me up because it used the acronym LDS. Oh God I never thought I was a Trekker. Julie didn't get it. I then decided to cause drama by cutting out my article and giving it to the bitchevil overlord in charge of party policy at Smith, as she was silly enough to come to dinner in a house of people righteously pissed off with her. I don't think Trish is pleased with me. Ah, well.

The civil rights panel, of course, got me very pissed off. Having spent most of the semester buried in neoMarxist theory, I've rather been neglecting my libertarian side. It is a felony, under the PATRIOT Act, for a librarian to tell anyone if s/he has been questioned about the use of information by any library patrons. Right, cause those librarians are soooo dangerous to our national security. Heaven forbid we allow them librarians their basic rights of free speech!

"He did a little too much LDS in the '60s" In the article, LDS refered to the Church of Latter Day Saints, which I think applies nicely. *ducks* It's only the fundamentalist Mormons I am against, really!

Have loads of homework to do. Mel is here to keep me company, fortunately. Haven't cried on her yet, fortunately. Breakups suck.
