Jun. 19th, 2003 12:06 pmOkay. Slash is a very, very scary place to be. I thought I'd reached the maximum of "ewewewewewewewewewewewewewewwwww that is so wrong" with the Bush/Blair. But now I learn that there is Jesus/Judas slash. Thankfully, since I didn't know what it was before I clicked the link, it was unaccessable. Why can't people stick with nice, nonsquicky slash like Frodo/Sam? Hell, even most rps doesn't bother me. Just, there are some people who Should Not Be Slashed.
I woke up at 6:15 this morning and had a very profound thought that I was determined to share with you all. I went back to sleep and now the thought is lost forever. As what I remember of it had something to do with the power of mildew to save the world, I will venture that this is no great loss to humanity.
Last Friday, for the dejeuner d'adieu, I decided it would be safe for me to experiment with makeup since they're all Smithies and they don't give a damn. Mind you, I have worn makeup a grand total of once in my life--sixth grade, at my suprise going-away slumber party, we did the typical sixth-grade "makeovers". My mom never wore makeup, at least not that I can remember, and after inflicting permanent wounds borrowing my stepmother's razor and trying to shave my legs the first time, I don't even borrow her jewelry anymore. And I can't bring myself to actually spend money on makeup, cause, like, starving children and stuff and I'm spending money on useless products that kill whales? I think not. But Caroline wasn't around and I didn't think she'd mind anyways, so I played with her makeup. It was so much fun! Like playing dressup. Of course it was a disaster and I had to take it all off, and the blue around my eyes wouldn't come off completely, but lots of fun.
It finally rained. Which is good, because I'm really not dealing well with this the-air-is-so-thick-it-gives-me-nosebleeds-just-trying-to-breathe. Paris would rock my socks anyway, except I am stuck in Reid Hall pretending to write my paper.
