Mar. 11th, 2004 04:23 pmMy Sallybird has left. *sniff* She will have fun in London, I'm sure. But not as much fun as Emily and I will have after graduation!!
So really this is just a "I love the Smith math department" post. Math tea!!! I finally got the t-shirt that I really wanted from Henle, the "What part of [insert complicated calc equation here] don't you understand?" Also, Mandy and I took down the History of Math exhibit in the Kahn Institute but we couldn't find the key to set it up in the Math Forum, so it is now living in Henle's office. The Rare Book Room didn't seem to mind that we were balancing stacks of priceless cuneiform tablets for transportation, but there were no incidents.
Steve liked my essay. Said it was "aggressive". Dunno what that means, except it got me a decent grade. :)!!!!
Will probably be going to Cape Cod this weekend will Emily and Alethea. Have never been. I miss the ocean so much, it'll be great, even if it rains.
Oh, and just an fyi. We read Browning in Dead White Poets today. The man was seriously disturbed. So of course I'm gonna have to work him into Dacey's story somehow.
