Dec. 19th, 2003 12:38 amI thought the part where I said "Legolas marries Aragorn" would tip y'all off, but a few people fell for it and since I can't expect people to devour the books just because a good movie has been made based on them, I would just like to say: the "spoiler" I posted is not real. Legolas, unfortunately, though he does wear white at a crucial moment, does not marry Aragorn, nor is he killed in a particularly pointless way. I am sorry, to those of you who were bemused, and I am amused, to myself, that fifty years after a book is published something like that can be considered a "spoiler", but I love you guys so I'll just say go see the movie. Peter Jackson of course fucked with the story, but not beyond all recognition, and it is defintely worth $7 and three and a half hours of your time.

My sister was complaining that she had read "spoilers" in someone's journal, which I didn't understand because she's read the books. I asked her how much more of a spoiler does she need??
