I've been without internet for over 24 hours. OH THE HORROR!!
But! I have news! Good news! Excellent news! *bounces*
1) I went to the dentist, after FIVE YEARS, and I do not have cavities. My teeth started hurting whenever I ate sugar, about two years ago, and I assumed that was cavities, and I'd never had a cavity so I was petrified of the thought of drilling, or surgery, or whatever it is they do with cavities (which is still a mystery to me), but I made myself go and it turns out I have receding gums, not cavities. Yay!
2) About two weeks ago when I took my car to get the oil changed and the tires rotated, the technician gave me a list of $500 in repairs that needed to be done, including brake work and a new battery. He was really pressuring me, and I didn't have a great vibe from him, and I had also just charged nine suits to my credit card (of which I have since taken back seven) so I really didn't have the money. This Monday I took the all the way up to the mechanic I actually trust, way out in Laurel so it's a trip to get there and there's no public transport so I have to wait for them to finish, which means taking a day off of work, but they are AWESOME. (Also when Em left a book there, they mailed it back to her without being asked. Which is why she recommended them to me. See, karma works.) And they said, nah, we'll adjust the brakes, and clean the battery, but your car is just fine. *happy bouncing*
3) The nonprofit I bought nine suits to interview with? CALLED ME BACK AND OFFERED ME THE JOB! *screams*
I am grinning manically and I cannot stop.
