bee has been a fannish friend and beta ever since I came back to Tolkien fandom.
He and his husband Jack are in a bad place, and need to move for safety and sanity. (Link goes to Jack's Tumblr post asking for help.) Update: post has been removed as their primary need, a place to stay, has been secured. Neither of them has steady work, and have very few resources to draw on.
Ways to help:
1)
Their primary need is a safe, queer- and trans*-friendly place to live with their cat. They're currently in NYC but are not tied to that place. Update: they have found a place to move and now need help with logistics of how to get there.2) Send money, for food and moving costs. Their

4) They have a possibility of housing in Minnesota but no way to get there (and no driver's license). If you can drive part of that way, please let them know
