I'm anti-death penalty too. TBH I don't really get how people can defend it - it seems so wrong to me on every level, from moral to economic to its complete failure at being an effective deterrent - but I'm not really the sort to get all up in people's faces and go DEFEND YOUR OPINION NOW anyway, so it doesn't really come up.

I'm also pro-raw milk. I just want to try my hand at making some raw milk products, and I don't get why I need to jump through so many hoops or do illegal stuff to do that.

Anyway, I get what you mean about activism feeling like it's beating your head against a wall. I really respect people who do that despite it having slow results, at best. I can't even handle reading political blogs anymore because it feels so futile.
